Webinar Highlighting Key Encryption’s Role in Securing Federal Agencies’ Data
The Secure Technology Alliance will hold a webinar, sponsored by Utimaco, that will delve into key encryption’s vital role in securing federal agencies’ data, implementation challenges and integration solutions.
The upcoming webinar, “U.S. Executive Order: Strengthening Information Security with Key Encryption for Data at Rest,” will be held on October 7, 2021 at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT. Registration details can be found here.

Mobile Driver’s License (mDL) Workshop: Moving Identification and Authentication Forward
The Alliance’s Mobile Driver’s License (mDL) workshop will be held on November 11th at the JW Marriot by the Galleria in Houston, Texas after the U.S. Payments Forum All-Member meeting. It will educate potential relying parties and accelerate mDL adoption through technical discussions and mDL technology demonstrations. Authentication and security experts will host in-depth sessions regarding the ongoing implementation and benefits of mDL, including:
- An mDL technology overview
- Key technical considerations involving fraud, privacy and certification
- mDL early adoption, pilot programs and business cases
- Moving mDL forward

Secure Technology Alliance 2022 Payments Summit Announcement & Call for Speakers

- In the Access Control Council, David Ferraiolo recently gave a presentation of an Attribute Based Access Control System: “Next Generation Access Control for the Physical and Logical World”.
- The Identity Council is hosting an mDL Workshop on Nov 11th in Houston, Texas, following the U.S. Payments Forum’s Fall Member Meeting.
- The Payments Council completed a webinar on dynamic security code cards.
- The Transportation Council is finalizing the emerging MaaS ecosystem white paper.

Current Training and Exam Dates
The following dates have been announced for CSEIP and TSCIP training. Class sizes have been reduced to eight people per class due to COVID-19 health guidelines and safety concerns. As a result, classes are selling out faster than they have in the past, so we are advising organizations to make their reservations in advance of future security system contracts and installations.
